Meet our new Administrative Assistant
Meet our new Administrative Assistant
Welcome Amanda!
Amanda Bustard is a born and raised Albertan, but it wasn’t until her move to Nanton, Alberta last year, with her husband Dave, that she was able to have a closer look at the rural, farming life in Alberta.
Amanda is a legal assistant by trade, and has worked for an Oil & Gas company as an Executive Assistant and event planner for the past ten years. She is very excited about this opportunity to work with such a great team with AFIN and believes that she will learn a lot about Agriculture and Forages.
When Amanda isn’t typing memos, she is an avid volunteer within her community. She is on the board of the local animal shelter, she is a Lions member with her husband, and most recently she was appointed the Vice President to the Canadian Grain Elevator Discovery Centre. Amanda hopes that her time with AFIN will help her understand the history of grain elevators in Alberta.
